Do you do photography for a living?
Thanks for the complement, but no, I don't. Sometimes I wish I did, but then again, I love what I do. I'm the founder
of
NewMediaWebinars.com and
NewMediaWebShows.com.
How did you get into photography?
When we had our first child, we got one of those point and shoot digital cameras (back in 1999) from Kodak.
I was hooked and never looked back. Of course, I upgraded as time went by (see below for more on that).
What kind of photography do you like to shoot?
Pretty much anything, but I love photographing my kids and my wife. I love the fact that I will have thousands of photographs
to look at and to remember when I'm older and my kids are grown up. I also love macro shooting.
What hardware do you use?
I have a Canon 30D with a EX 580 flash. I also have a Tamron 28-300mm, a Canon 50mm and a Canon 18-55mm.
What software do you use?
I'm on a Mac so I pretty much do everything on Adobe Lightroom, however, I'm looking at switching now to Apple
Aperture 3.0, which really rocks!
Do you print?
Nope. I have no clue how to get a good print (I mean outside of going to Costco and getting prints there). I love digital photographs
and the good thing about that is I get to watch them on my Roku box so that the entire family can enjoy the photographs
on our large flat screen.
Are you available for hire?
Not really. I do this as my hobby. But my friend Alan is available for hire and he is amazing. Check out his
site.
